TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iranian petrochemical companies sold 14.460 million tons of petrochemical products during the period.
Earlier in September, Iran said it considerably increased its export of petrochemical products in a four-month period.
"We have witnessed a 12 percent increase in the volume of petrochemical exports over past four months as compared with the previous year's corresponding period," FNA quoted Director for Production Control in National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NPC) Ali Mohammad Bosaqzadeh as saying.
He noted that the value of petrochemical products exported from Iran has also increased by four percent.
Bosaqzadeh also noted that a number of new petrochemical projects will come on stream later this year to further boost output capacity, and said, "Partnership of local banks and attraction of foreign investors can enhance the process."
