TEHRAN, January 17 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the country is resolute to expand brotherly and all-out ties with Islamic countries.

Iran resolute to widen brotherly ties with Islamic countries: RouhaniTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a meeting with Omani Parliament Speaker Khaled bin Hilal Al Mawali here in Tehran on Wednesday, Rouhani said enemies do not want unity and solidarity among Islamic countries.

“Bilateral ties between Iran and Oman have always been on the rise. Bilateral political and cultural relations are at a unique level. Economic cooperation can be widened further through activating bilateral economic potential.”

He said Iran welcomes Omani investment in Chabahar and Jask free zones in economic sectors, especially in transit.

Khaled bin Hilal Al Mawali, for his part, lauded Iran’s human aid to Muslims across the world, and said talks and political solution is the greatest and most effective approach to establish peace and stability in this region.

“We are resolute to expand bilateral economic ties with Iran further.”
