TEHRAN, January 24 - Iran and Belarus signed 8 Memoranda of Understating (MoU) on Wednesday to expand bilateral cooperation in 8 fields as they wrapped up the 14th joint economic cooperation commission conference.

Iran, Belarus ink MoU to widen cooperation in 8 fieldsTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -Designing a roadmap for Tehran-Minsk cooperation from 2018 to 2020 is the most important document which includes economic, political, investment, commercial, banking, agricultural, transportation, scientific and cultural fields.

 The two sides also agreed to work in sharing expertise, products and exports of pharmaceuticals to Belarus, manufacturing electronic buses as well as producing trucks and buses, launching production line for Dena and Dena plus sedans and developing Iran’s technical and engineering services to Belarus.

Iranian and Belarusian ministers of industry who were also present in the conference stressed use of available capacity, planning and exchanging economic delegations to expand bilateral cooperation.

The documents are expected to wave the way for increasing bilateral exchanges between the two sides, from current $160 million, by 5 times.
