TEHRAN, August 19 - The former world number one Novak Djokovic has beaten Roger Federer 6-4, 6-4, in the Cincinnati Final, to become the first player to win all 9 of the Association of Tennis Professionals' elite Masters 1 thousand events.

And that means, Federer was denied his 99th career trophy. Wimbledon champion Djokovic had lost the Cincinnati final to the Swiss on 3 previous occasions. The 31-year-old Serb now leads Federer 24 to 22 and has won their last 3 encounters.
