Tehran, YJC. Iran has stopped its crude flow to Eni S.p.A and Statoil.

"The Iranian National Oil Company is in no way restricted to sell gas condensates or crude oil to these two European companies,” asserted Mohsen Qamsari, Director of Iran’s National Oil Company International Affairs, providing comments on the interception in the flow of Iranian hydrocarbon to Italy’s Eni and Norway’s Statoil.

In answer to Mehr News Agency reporter on the reasons Iran stopped export to the two countries he said "Right now these two companies are facing some legal problems which they seem to be solving soon.”

"These two companies have to acquire permit to buy Iran’s oil and gas condensates from the European Union,” he further added.

Qamsari futher stated that Iran is likely to resume trade with the two companies once the legal steps are taken and said "The Iranian National Oil Company has no problem resuming export. We are busy with negotiations, in fact,” adding "Any minute it is possible that the problem is solved for Eni and Statoil and the export of crude and gas condensates started over.”
