Police said the suspected gunman was shot dead by a security guard after opening fire on the people waiting in line to enter the bar.
In Honolulu, Hawaii, two police officers were killed on Sunday as they responded to a stabbing call in Honolulu. The city's Police Chief Susan Ballard said a man shot at the officers as they responded to a woman who had been stabbed in the leg.
Police said the home where the incident unraveled then caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames. The fire also spread to six other homes in the area.
The suspect, along with two other women who are believed to have been inside the house at the time of the shooting, remain unaccounted for after the fire. Officers are scouring the area for remains.
In San Antonio, Texas, a shooting on Sunday night at a club claimed the lives of two people. Police said an argument during a concert led to the shooting, resulting in the suspect pulling out a gun and shooting at people who were said to be patrons.
One victim died at the scene, and another six were transported to a hospital, where one was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Police said the gunman was still at large.
