Thursday, 13 August 2020 (YJC)_ Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman said on Thursday that 174 more Iranians lost their lives from coronavirus disease over the past 24 hours bringing the total deaths to 19,162.

Iran registers 2,625 COVID-19 new cases in 24 hours/ 174 more lost their lives

On her daily briefing, Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman, Sima Sadat Lari, mentioned 174 new victims and 2,625 new cases over the past 24 hours in the country.

According to Sadat Lari with the given statistics total number of infected people over the county mounted to 336,324 and the death toll comes to 19,162.

Some 292,058 people have been recovered and discharged from hospital, according to Lari.

Currently, 3,971 patients reported to be in critical condition ad being treated in intensive care units.
