Rouhani: Some anti-revolutionary groups want to bring Iran to a halt

Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, noted on his daily briefing on Saturday that now that the country is fighting the coronavirus pandemic a number of anti-revolutionary groups want to bring the country to a halt under different pretexts and excuses, such as “warning against entrance exams for universities, holding Ashura rituals, starting new school year or reopening factories,”

Elsewhere in his remarks he noted that “some anti-revolutionary groups, by using the condition created by the Coronavirus, want to create a dichotomy between the bread and lives of people,”

Rouhani made the remarks as the schools opened across the country on Saturday.

Speaking at the meeting of the national taskforce for combatting the coronavirus, Rouhani highlighted that through their media outlets these anti-revolutionary groups, created a chaos these days claiming that experts are adamant and resolute that schools should remain closed but the education minister in Iran wants to open classes “by force”.
