Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh announced on Saturday that the 2nd Tehran Dialogue Forum will be held on Tuesday.
“The forum will be held online via videoconference on coming Tuesday and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will address the opening,” Khatibzadeh said.
He went on to announce that “the forum will be held by the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
“The objectives of this forum are to discuss and exchange views by senior political officials and heads of research institutes on the situations surrounding different issues, including the Persian Gulf, Central Asia and the Caucasus,” he said.
Political nature of the developments on regional trends, a more accurate understanding of existing processes and also consensus on finding ways of cooperation between countries in the region to create peace and stability, will be addressed by the participant according to Khatibzadeh.
