After tripping thrice on the stairs of Air Force One on Friday, President Joe Biden’s physical and mental health is back in focus, with experts deeming him unfit for the top office.

Biden’s triple fall prompts questions about his physical, mental healthRonny Jackson, a Congressman and former White House physician, on Sunday expressed grave concern over Biden’s health, saying “something's not right.”

I served as White House physician under THREE Presidents. I’ve seen what it takes physically AND mentally to do the job. I can tell you right now that the way Biden is hiding from the public is a MAJOR red flag. Something’s not right!

The Texas representative formerly served as the physician for Biden’s predecessors George Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

His alarm bell has now reverberated widely in the cyberspace, raising questions about the Democratic Party's choice for presidency.

The 78-year-old US president, the oldest man to occupy the Oval Office, stumbled and tripped three times while boarding the presidential plane. His health has already been subject to intense scrutiny.

It was not immediately clear what led to the embarrassing fall, but the White House tried to downplay the incident, blaming it on strong winds and confirming that he was “doing well.”

While American leaders have a history of tripping on the staircase of presidential aircraft, the latest incident is being linked to Biden’s poor health condition.

The critics of Biden quickly latched onto the viral online footage to suggest that he was suffering from dementia, a condition that results in a person’s cognitive decline and various brain disorders.

The US president, who had caught everyone’s attention with his malapropisms, mispronunciations and slurred remarks during the last year’s election campaign, was branded “Sleepy Joe” by his rival, Trump, who went to the extent of suggesting that his cognitive abilities be tested.

On March 18, a Russian politician also claimed that Biden was grappling with dementia, after the latter called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “killer.”

Fears were further accentuated after Biden referred to Vice President Kamala Karris as “President Harris” on the same day, drawing scorn and ridicule from friends and foes alike.

The triple fall was among others mocked by Donald Trump Jr., who said it was a sign of “neurological deficiency and dementia.”
