According to Somalian police, at least five people are dead as the result of a suicide bombing in the capital city Mogadishu. The blast occurred in a restaurant in the Shangani District.
"Around 7pm, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a tea shop frequented by young people", police spokesman Sadiq Dudishe said. "Six people, four of them youths, a child, and the suicide bomber died in the blast. Four others were wounded".
The Al-Shabaab group -which has launched attacks in the country - has not claimed responsibility for this assault as yet.
