Ali Akbar Velayati, Secretary General of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening, issued a statement condemning the ISIL terrorist attack on a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan.
Referring to the crimes of extremist and terrorist groups, including ISIS, against the oppressed people of the region and trying to present an unrealistic image of Islam, Velayati said in part:
The Americans have repeatedly and officially acknowledged that they were the founders and supporters of these groups, including ISIS, and therefore share in the occurrence of these crimes and other tragedies and sufferings in the region that are unprecedented in history, and according to the Supreme Leader. The effects of the crisis in the region must be sought in their escalation of tensions and war. However, with the resistance of the oppressed people of the region and the bravery and self-sacrifice of the commanders and soldiers defending the shrine and the Resistance Front as the international face of the fight against terrorism, Martyr Soleimani, their evil plans in the region were destroyed and today more than ever Another America is isolated.
In this regard, the Secretary General of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening condemned this terrorist act:
The people of Pakistan will respond to such barbaric acts and the terrorist groups will not be able to achieve their shameful goals despite the barbaric crimes, massacres, killings and martyrdom of oppressed people, including children and adolescents, men and women, old and young. Find and win will be for the resistance front and the oppressed people of the region.
God willing, Ali Akbar Velayati
