The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Monday that 6,426 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,103 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 6,426 COVID-19 infections and 168 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 7,096,318.”
168 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 138,116,” the ministry added.
“3,572 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,739,811 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
47,808,284 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “148 cities are rated red, 196 cities are orange, 101cities are yellow, and 3 cities are blue.”
