British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace announced on Thursday that his country would send an anti-aircraft missile system to Poland.
According to the Anatolian News Agency, Wallace said during a visit to Warsaw that he would send Sky Saber short-range missile defense system to Poland with 100 personnel to protect the country from possible Russian "invasion".
On the other hand, according to Reuters, Wallace today (Thursday) ordered an investigation into the fake contact of the "Prime Minister of Ukraine" with him.
The British Secretary of Defense said:
Today, someone tried to impersonate the Prime Minister of Ukraine and talk to me. He asked some misleading questions and I hung up when I became suspicious of him.
Wallace immediately accused Russia of arranging the call, saying it should be clarified how the call was allowed.
Shortly afterwards, British Home Secretary Preity Patel tweeted that a similar call had been made to him this week.
