The Iranian Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 571 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 101 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 571 COVID-19 infections and 18 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,223,576.”
17 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 141,114,” the ministry added.
“17 patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours, increasing the number of the dead to 141,131," the ministry noted.
“1,062 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,992,001 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
51,261,640 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “33 cities are rated orange, 321 cities are yellow, and 94 cities are blue.”
