Seyyed Ibrahim Raeisi on Monday evening, continuing his travel plans to Oman among a number of Iranians living in this country, expressed his satisfaction with attending this gathering:
We believe that just as we must protect the rights of Iranians inside the country, we must also respect and support the rights of Iranians abroad.
While emphasizing on maintaining the cultural connection of Iranians abroad with inside the country, the President added:
The identity and culture of Iranians is linked to their religious culture. The same is true in neighboring countries, and efforts must be made to preserve this identity.
Noting that Iranians abroad, including compatriots living in Oman, have always followed Iran's internal affairs with sensitivity, Raeisi said:
The ground is prepared for safe investment with guaranteed capital and profit in Iran, and the best people who can invest in Iran are Iranians abroad.
"I felt in the meeting with Omani economic activists that I felt they were highly motivated to work with the Iranians," he said.
Today, Iranian products can fully compete with world-famous goods in terms of standards.
Emphasizing on facilitating economic relations with Iran for Iranians living in Oman as well as Omani economic activists, Raeisi noted:
Today, it was decided to establish the Iran Chamber of Commerce in Oman as soon as possible. The establishment of this center will help to recognize the mutual capacities of Iran and Oman.
The President called on Iranians living in Oman to participate in the faster establishment of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce in Oman and said:
Another issue is the issue of school. Establishing an Iranian school here and educating our children about Iranian culture and education is relevant given the population of 10,000 Iranians, and Mr. Safir is pursuing this.
Referring to the request of one of the speakers of this ceremony to facilitate the issuance of licenses for knowledge-based activities, Raeisi further emphasized:
The government strongly supports the establishment and operation of knowledge-based units. We also welcome and support cooperation in the field of Islamic banking.
The President called health tourism one of the important capacities for the development of cooperation between Iran and Oman and said:
In a meeting with the Sultan of Oman, we talked about health tourism, which was welcomed by him. Omani officials believed that what is being done in Iran today in the field of health is at an acceptable level and on a par with European and Western countries.
