During a meeting with Qatar's Acting Foreign Minister Ahmed bin Hassan Al-Hammadi and Deputy Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Mohammed Al-Khalifi in Qatari capital of Doha, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani said enhancing ties and discussions between Iran and Qatar ensures regional security.
The two countries called for expanding bilateral relations between the two countries.
Bagheri Kani referred to the recent trip of Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raiesi to Qatar and noted that such visits show determination of leaders of the two countries to enhance cooperation.
“Continuous consultations between the two countries will surely strengthen regional stability and security,” he said.
He finally thanked Qatar for hosting this round of negotiations on the removal of anti-Iran sanctions.
