An Iranian official said that 130 tons of uranium purchased by Iran would be soon delivered to the country.
Iran soon receives 130 tons purchased uranium, says official"The 130 tons of the purchased uranium will be soon delivered to Iran following agreement of members of the JCPOA joint commission meeting (held in Vienna),” said Spokesman of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi.

"It is one of the very good steps taken. The members agreed with Iran’s request for buying 130 tons of uranium. We have already imported 220 tons of the material. Overall, we possess 350 tons of the material after the nuclear deal which is a very good reservoir and puts us in a very good position.”

He further said during the JCPOA joint commission meeting, Americans committed to prevent effects of the 10-year Iran Sanctions Act (ISA).

During the meeting Iran expressed its objection to the violation of the JCPOA following extension of the sanctions in the US Congress and Senate with other countries were also worried, he said.

The Iranian official noted that during the meeting, US official vowed to prevent effects of extending the sanctions in practice.

He also noted that Iran believes that ISA is violation of the JCPOA and, "The issue is still on the table. Some countries attending the meeting thought so.”
